Bryan Voelzke, M.D., M.S., F.A.C.S., is a board certified urologist at Spokane Urology. Dr. Voelzke prior academic practice was solely devoted to reconstructive urology at the University of Washington/Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. While there, he cultivated a broad network of physician referrals across the Pacific Northwest to provide surgical and medical care for patients with complex urologic reconstructive issues. Providing patient-centered care is important to Dr. Voelzke. He has received a number of awards from patients in recognition of his attention to patient care.

Dr. Jason D. Engel is a urologist affiliated with Sibley Memorial Hospital and George Washington University Hospital, where he is the director of urologic robotic surgery and a clinical associate professor. Dr. Engel is certified in urology by the American Board of Urology. He practices out of Urologic Surgeons of Washington in Washington, D.C. Dr. Engel was the first to successfully perform a robotic prostatectomy in the region and is the founder of the robotic prostatectomy program at George Washington University Hospital.

I study skin cancer in the setting of lymphoma. My studies have included all the common forms of skin cancer and their behavior in patients with either chronic lymphocytic leukemia or non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. 

One of my areas of focus has been melanoma in the setting of immunosuppression. To this end, I have undertaken studies of patients with melanoma who also have had an organ transplant, or who have had lymphoma.

Brad Figler received his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and completed his residency training in Urology at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, GA. Following residency, Dr. Figler completed a two-year fellowship in Genitourinary Trauma and Male Reconstruction at University of Washington and Harborview Medical Center with Dr. Hunter Wessells and Dr. Bryan Voelzke. During this time, Dr. Figler also worked at the Harborview Injury Prevention and Research Center, where he pursued an interest in health services research. After his fellowship training, Dr. Figler worked at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia as Assistant Professor of Urology and Director of Reconstructive Urology. In 2016, Dr. Figler joined UNC as an Assistant Professor of Urology. Along with Dr. Coward, Dr. Figler serves as fellowship faculty for the UNC Urology Men's Health Fellowship.

Dr. Paul Chung is a Jefferson University urology physician with experience in genitourinary reconstruction and extramammary Paget's disease (EMPD) treatment in men. Dr. Chung is a Sidney Kimmel Medical College, at Thomas Jefferson University Medical School, graduate. Dr. Chung had an internship and residency at University of Texas Southwestern and a fellowship at University of Washington in Seattle, WA.

Hadley Wyre, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Urology, who joined our faculty in July 2014, after completing a two year Society of Urologic Oncology fellowship with our Department under the direction of Dr. Jeff Holzbeierlein and the remaining oncology faculty. Dr. Wyre earned his medical degree from Emory University in Atlanta, GA. He completed both a urology residency and fellowship in Trauma / Reconstructive Urology from Emery University as well.

Dr. Wyre sees patients at The University of Kansas Cancer Center - South, located in Kansas City, MO and in our clinic located in the Medical Office Building at The University of Kansas Hospital, in Kansas City, KS. His clinical practice focuses on urologic oncology, trauma and reconstruction. He specializes in bladder, kidney, testis, and penile cancers. He also has interests in urinary diversion, urinary fistulas and radiation complications from oncologic treatments requiring surgical intervention, such as the revision of urinary diversions and the repair of urinary fistulas.
